O.K., my comedist quota aside, this is a post in the tradition of, "Bullshit or Not?", where I post a little quotation for you, and you tell me in as few or as many words as you like, whether you believe it is bullshit or not. Feel free to explain, complain, even restrain (though that's not recommended), but please, do not be (overly) profane.
From Alasdair MacIntyre, and his book After Virtue (I bet you didn't see that one coming):
"Every action is the bearer and expression of more or less theory-laden beliefs and concepts; every piece of theorizing and every expression of belief is a political and moral action."
I've been running up against this very idea again and again. I think we ought not get bogged down in the word "action" here, since it seems obvious the sort of action being discussed.
So, bullshit or not?
